An accomplished son of a renowned father, Arunbhai’s immense and inspiring contribution to the Gujarati film will never be forgotten. Not only was Arunbhai a skilled and talented director, he was also a very successful producer. Under his production house, Vijay Films International, his first successful venture was the super hit film, Maa Baap. After that he made super hit films like Mota Gharni Vahu, Parki Thapan etc.

It’s a known fact that for most of his films, the lyricist and music director was my father, Shri Avinash Vyas. My father was very fond of Arunbhai and impressed with his sense and knowledge of music.

For actors and technicians, working with Arunbhai was a privilege. The fact that I also got to work with him as a music director for many films is my greatest reward! As a producer and director he worked with many renowned singers like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar, Mahendra Kapoor along with other Gujarati singers. Arunbhai also played a vital role in giving a break to singers like Smt. Harshida Rawal and the famous folk singer, Praful Dave.
