Family
Arun Bhatt is survived by his wife Bharati, three daughters, Madhavi, Jahnavi and Pauravi and son Chirantan.
Bhatt’s unfulfilled wish of becoming a music composer is realised through his son, Chirantan Bhatt, a well-known music composer working in Bollywood and in Telugu cinema.
Chirantan Bhatt has given musical hits such as Shaapit, Haunted 3D, and 1920: Evil Returns in the beginning of his career and later composed chartbusters like “Har Kisi Ko Nahin Milta” in Akshay Kumar’s Boss, “Teri Meri Kahaani” and “Coffee Peete Peete” in Gabbar Is Back, “Bawra Mann” in Jolly LLB 2 and “Aj Singh Garjega” in Kesari.
Chirantan’s foray into Telugu cinema started with the film “Kanche”. The music score of Kanche won him two major awards – the GAMA Award 2016 in Dubai and the Cinemaa Award 2016 in Hyderabad. He was also nominated for Best Music Director for Kanche by the Telugu Filmfare Awards. Chirantan has given other hits down south like “Ammakutti Ammakutti” from the film “Jai Simha”. He continues to live his father’s dream through his music.
